Okay so here’s the thing about wranglers that it’s important to know before you buy them (seen a few reviews saying they were too long even at “the right sizeâ€) Wrangler Cowboy Cut jeans are made to stack on your boot, they aren’t made for walk-in around in chucks, or socks or otherwise non cowboy boot footwear, if they drag, or if they seem too long, I would say order one size shorter than you’re used to, I’m a 34 length and they fit just perfect, that being said when I take off my boots at the end of a long day, I know to expect to be dragging my jeans on the floor, I’ve been wearing Wrangler since I was a kid, having grown up in a small town with plenty of cowboys in CA, and I can tell you, they make the absolute best, longest lasting Jean out there, now one recommendation if you’ve got a bit more of a gut like me, definitely buy a prewashed pair, rigid are nice for starching purposes, but you may find they cut into you a bit, even with a tucked in shirt
PSA, if you usually wear Levi 517s you'll need to buy the next larger waist size in these jeans. I have many pairs of jeans and slacks, many different brands, all 38" waist. This company must use a different tape measure. I'm surprised so many people said these fit great but I guess they have done the trial and error thing and know what size to buy. Heh, I lost twelve pounds th is year and still should have bought the larger size. I do like the looks (cut) and material. One more thing, I bought grey and they are black. (shrugs, shakes head) Good luck.

Growing up, my mom would never let me even consider Wrangler jeans, always ended up with Levis of one form or another. In my college years I liked the way Levi 501s looked with boots, but didn't like the way the waist sat on me - some no-mans-land between natural waist and hips. I got interested in Wranglers primarily because they did have such a high waist. Of course, the fact that I could buy two pair of the Cowboy Cut jeans for less than a single pair of Levi 501s was exceedingly attractive, especially since I'm still losing weight. They fit well, waist is more or less perfect, thighs are a bit tight, but that's to be expected with such a cut. Only issue is the inseam. All the pants I've ever worn since I was 18 have been with a 34 inseam. Usually they'll be a bit long with bare feet, but with boots, they'll break perfectly and won't bunch up. These are a bit longer and tend to bunch up just the slightest bit. They really oughtn't shrink, either, since they have been sanforized. The material on these is interesting. The Duluth Trading jeans I had been wearing for so long were made of 14.5oz denim. These Wranglers use significantly lighter denim, but it's strange, though. They're definitely thinner, but the material feels substantially denser than any other denim I've worn before. I did go ahead and order a pair of the Wrangler Premium Performance Cowboy Cut jeans to see how the heavier material would turn out. They feel well made and the material most assuredly feels strong and resilient enough. The positioning of the pockets is somewhat important to me. The back two pockets are marvelous, never had rear pockets up that high and it really does help when trying to get your wallet out while sitting down. Front pockets, I'm assuming are meant to be treated as they are on Levi 501s, more or less for aesthetics. I usually just carry my big ol' Samsung Galaxy S4 in the left pocket, forgo a pocket knife (wear one on my belt instead), then tuck my keys and a Zippo into the right pocket. Not an issue, really, they're not cargo pants after all. Even if they somehow turn out to only last me half a year or so, they're very affordable jeans. They're cut really well. My only wish would be to have them available in button fly, but that'd be too perfect. I think I'm somewhere between a 42 and 44 waist right now. These are the traditional cowboy Wrangler jeans. They are a tighter fit in the thighs and waist but that is something I was looking for. I didn't want jeans that stretched out throughout the day. I wanted a good fit that doesnt get in the way or look sloppy. They are thicker jeans but that is what makes them so tough for work. So that is typical. Exactly what I expected. Being 6'6" it is nice to be able to find pants long enough.
These are the traditional cowboy Wrangler jeans. They are a tighter fit in the thighs and waist but that is something I was looking for. I didn't want jeans that stretched out throughout the day. I wanted a good fit that doesnt get in the way or look sloppy. They are thicker jeans but that is what makes them so tough for work. A little stiff at first, but it says that on the tags on the jeans. Just follow the washing instructions and everything will be all right. I will be buying more of these in the future.

I tried going up 2 sizes, too big. One size up, too big. Order my normal size. T highs a little snug. I take my jeans to the cleaners. A little shrinkage, but still fit. The denim is nice and thick. I like my jeans old school. Don’t need those fancy high price jeans. They will be out of style in 1 year.

Bought the 48x32 prewashed indigo. I’m 6’ with 46 waist. Haven’t done the standard three inside out washes with low heat dry yet but have worn them a few hours. The waist was looser than I expected based on other reviews but not unhappy about that. I’ve got pretty muscular thighs and calves so was less pleasantly surprised with the baggy legs. Hoping the washing will shrink it down a bit.

We have ordered these Wrangler jeans before for our Big and Tall son-in-law. They always fit fine and look good when they are being worn. Price is fair and shipping was fast. He wears cowboy boots often so these are great jeans for that.
