I read other reviews and thought I might clear up some hesitations about the product. 1.Product is excellent. 2. Description and size chart misleading. I weigh 218 pds and have a 42 waist. XL fits perfect. I'm 6'1" tall. Judge from there. 2. Some complained about the color. They thought it would be lighter but it says indigo and that's what it is . A darker blue color. 3. The denim could be a little heavier but the sherpa lining is great. Good buy.
I bought this for my husband and the torso part fets perfect however... the arms are slightly short yet SUPER PUFFY,it makes him look like the Michillen Man!! They are so bad he refuses to wear it out in public!! He also kept asking is it was a womans jacket because the sleeves are pleated into the cuffs!! This is the worst jacket I have ever bought and I washed it hoping it would fix the weird doughboy arms so no returning it!! Unless you are a huge body builder that only dose arms day then steer clear!! My husband is 6’ and works out yet this thing is awful and I deeply regret the purchase and will NEVER buy another Wrangler item again!!

The description says "medium weight denim" , it is light weight. I would compare the fabric weight, minus the liner, as being comparable to your average dress shirt. It is comfortable,warm,fits well and is a good price. So, all in all, I am satisfied with this purchase. To all of the other reviewers who criticized the garment for not having Sherpa lined sleeves. It is common practice to line sleeves with quilted material instead of the Sherpa,fleece or flannel lining of the garment. This is to facilitate putting the garment on. The smoother the lining of the sleeve is, the easier it is to put on.

The torso is sherpa and the sleeves are quilted. It's much warmer than a medium-weight flannel but not as warm as a heavy coat.
